Join us for a Welcome Cocktail at the beautiful Sala delle Colonne at the Castello del Valentino, on the evening before the conference begins, to warmly welcome all participants.

Originally shaped during the 17th-century ducal transformations, the Sala delle Colonne connects the city with the River Po through an elegant space defined by six impressive breccia columns and traces of Renaissance decoration. This special gathering welcomes participants to Turin from the very beginning of their stay, offering the opportunity to discover the venue, enjoy the city, and connect with the conference community in a relaxed atmosphere.

A colloquium will be held thanks to the support of the Accademia delle Scienze di Torino and Unione Matematica Italiana. The event will take place in the “Sala dei Mappamondi”, the heart of the Academy, decorated by Galliari in 1787. Open to members of the Academy and conference delegates, the colloquium aims to foster exchange between the conference and the scientific community of the Accademia, highlighting current topics in applied mathematics and their broader relevance.

The YIC2027 conference banquet will take place in the magnificent Salone delle Feste at the Principi di Piemonte | UNA Esperienze, a historical 5 star Hotel located in the heart of Torino. A symbol of enduring splendour, the hotel is set within an impressive rationalist-style building, regarded as one of Turin’s most distinguished architectural landmarks.

The renowned Salone delle Feste, an exceptional and prestigious space with a dedicated entrance, is the jewel of the structure. The hall is enriched by artistic details, including refined mosaics by Paolo Venini and magnificent historic Murano glass chandeliers, creating a truly unforgettable setting for the evening.
