Politacnico di Torino Engineering Campus
The ECCOMAS Young Investigators Conference will take place from September 8th to 10th 2027, and the venue for this event will be the “Politecnico di Torino Engineering Campus, Building R”, Via Paolo Borsellino, 53, 10138, Torino.
The Building R is located into the “Cittadella Politecnica”, a new teaching and training go hand in hand with local and student services, as well as financial and cultural activities. It also houses the Business Research Centre, where various international companies have set up their most advanced research centres, and the Polo Venture Capital, which offers real opportunities for research development.
The Building R represents a project that combines large teaching spaces with study areas, while symbolically linking the campus and the city through a dialogue between innovation and historical memory. The R complex is a modern facility designed to host large-scale academic and professional events. It consists of eight classrooms: four tiered lecture halls, each accommodating 300 participants, and four flat lecture halls with a capacity of 150 seats each. This variety of spaces allows for great flexibility, supporting both plenary and smaller parallel sessions.
