Call for Mini-Symposia


The submission of Mini-Symposia (MS) proposals to the 9th edition of the ECCOMASYoung Investigators Conference (YIC 2027) is now open.

The Conference Programme will feature Plenary Lectures complemented by Mini-Symposiaorganized by recognised experts in specific research areas, covering all the main topicsaddressed by the conference.

Participants interested in organizing a Mini-Symposium at YIC 2027 are invited to submita proposal in PDF format by using the template available here:

The proposal should briefly describe the scientific content and objectives of the Mini-Symposium and include the names and affiliations of the organizers. At this stage, a listof prospective speakers is not required.

Each MS may have one or more organizers. The organizer submitting the proposal onbehalf of all the organizers will be designated as the Corresponding MS Organizer. TheCorresponding MS Organizer will also serve as the sole point of contact with the Confer-ence Secretariat.

Each MS is expected to consist of at least one 2-hour session, consisting of six 20-minutepresentation slots. The final number of sessions allocated to each MS will depend on thenumber of accepted contributions and will be determined in multiples of six presentationslots. Within each MS, one Keynote Lecture may be scheduled for every two full sessions(i.e., 12 presentation slots). A Keynote presentation typically occupies two slots, leav-ing 10 slots available for regular presentations. Therefore, at least 10 confirmed regularpresentations are required to include a Keynote lecture. Please also note that only onecontribution is allowed per registered speaker.

Mini-symposia proposals should be submitted through the conference website nolater than 15 December 2026.

To submit your MS abstract proposal, please follow the steps below:

  1. If you have not yet registered for the conference, please registerhereusing your emailaddress. Enter the PIN code you will receive and choose a password for your account.Then, complete your profile by providing all the required information
  2. If you are already registered, please log in to your accounthere.
  3. Once you have logged in, go to “My Congress” and then select “My Contributions" from the menu on the right-hand side of the page. Click on “Submit Proposal”, andyou are ready to submit your contribution!
